What materials are used in making a Tauts?

Lace Tauts:
Shell - 100% Polyester Lace
Core – 65% Polyester Tricot, 35% cotton

Pure Tauts
65% Cotton/Polyester
35% Nylon

What size should I order?

If you are ordering early in your pregnancy, sizing is a little trickier because it’s hard to predict how large your belly will become. We suggest ordering 1 or 2 sizes up from your pre-pregnancy size measurement. Or if you are unsure you can purchase a Gift Certificate online and order in your late-eighth to ninth month for a more accurate measurement and size. If you are in your late-eighth to ninth month, measure the largest part of your belly, which is usually at the belly button, and then subtract 3-5 inches from that number and select your size accordingly. If you are purchasing after your delivery, select the size according to your current measurement. Our Tauts are designed with a Velcro closure, to fasten tightly around your belly, as you shrink! When should I start and stop wearing it?

You should begin wearing your Tauts as soon as you feel comfortable after delivery For best results, wear your Tauts as snugly as possible night and day for 40 days! Of course, feel free to remove for bathing! As always, it’s best to consult your doctor if you have concerns.

How do I wash it?

You should hand wash your Tauts and lay flat to dry. Please note that it takes about 12 hours for Tauts to dry completely.

Will it still work after I've had my baby?

Many of you are asking about wearing Tauts long after your delivery, many of you even years later. Believe me, I wish I would have discovered this secret long ago after giving birth to Neriah and Sierra. Here is what I believe. Although Tauts was designed to be worn immediately after delivery to help the swollen uterus shrink quickly, it has many other positive features. Wearing something around your core(mid section muscles), reminds you to keep those muscles engaged. Many trainers believe that doing that actually tightens your abdominal muscles which will flatten your tummy! Tauts also supports any baggy skin, acts like a corset, and will bring in your waistline when you tighten the Velcro closure. If we didn’t slouch, and we used our stomach muscles more throughout the day, they will begin to tighten and that gives the tummy more support and a tighter look. The Core Secrets work out program that I did, was all about using your core muscles. It really works!!! Simply wearing something around your tummy will be a constant reminder to engage those muscles and you will see a difference. Tauts is not just a girdle. It adds some compression and will help you to train your abs. Plus, Tauts hold in any tummy flab and it feels great to not have that pouch. Go for it, even if you did not just have your baby.

Should Tauts be worn after a cesarean delivery?

After a lot of research, we have now discovered that Tauts is actually GREAT for cesarean deliveries!!!! Yeah! It will actually support the abdomen and may help you get a flatter tummy quickly. The most important thing is to follow your Doctors orders, be under his supervision and consult with him first, before wearing Tauts. Many plastic surgeons, who specialize in creating visual beauty, believe in wearing a compression garment, after abdominal surgery. Tummy tucks are wrapped in a garment similar to Tauts to support the abdomen during the healing process. We believe that Tauts makes Mom’s tummy feel tighter and flatter after delivery and provides additional comfort while mom recovers after c-section. Check with your doctor and good luck!

How do I exchange an item?

We can exchange a item for a different color or size within 90 days of order, provided the item is not worn. Jewelry may not be exchanged due to it's custom nature. A $6.00 charge must be added to your account for ground shipping (up to 5 days for delivery) to the lower US for the replacement package. 2-day shipping will cost $10:00. Please call us for overnight shipping charges. To exchange an item that has not been worn, please include a note detailing your exchange and include your order number if possible and permission to charge the re-shipping fee. What is your return policy?

We will gladly refund any unworn Tauts or Baboosh Body within 30 days of receipt of your order. There will be a 20% of purchase price restocking fee charged for all returns. The item must be in its original package and not worn. Jewelry is not refundable.

What method do you use for shipping?

We use Fedex or UPS for all 2-day or overnight shipments. Saturday deliveries are an extra charge. Please let our office know before you place your order, if your request is for a Saturday delivery. Please note that FedEx does not ship to post office boxes. Ground shipping will be sent by various carriers. Your package will be shipped within 72 hours, unless otherwise notified. Please note that an order we receive on Friday may not be fulfilled until Monday. International customers must choose international priority shipping. International customers must be aware that your customs duties and taxes will be collected at the time of delivery. This is the customer's responsibility. If the package is returned because it is refused or duties are not paid, the customer will be charged shipping fees.
